Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Pasteurised Butter
- 250 g Spinach
- 50 G Micro Greens Mustard Leaves (Approx. 50 Gm)
- 200 g Table Salt
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
Instructions
- 1. Wash and chop 500g of mustard greens and 250g of spinach leaves thoroughly, removing any thick stems.
- 2. In a large pot, add 1 cup of water and bring to a boil. Place the chopped greens in the pot, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the greens are wilted and tender.
- 3. Once cooked, blend the greens into a coarse paste using a hand blender or food processor. Set aside.
- 4. Heat 2 tablespoons of Amul pasteurized butter in a pan. Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.
- 5. Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 6. Stir in 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of Everest garam masala, and salt to taste. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil separates.
- 7. Add the blended green paste to the pan. Cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 8. Adjust the consistency with water if needed. Check for seasoning and add more Everest garam masala or salt as desired.
- 9. Finish with an additional tablespoon of Amul pasteurized butter on top before serving.
- 10. Serve hot with makki di roti and relish the authentic flavors of Sarso da Saag.
