A comforting pescatarian dish featuring tender salmon and sweet peas in a creamy sauce, perfect for a satisfying dinner. Serve it over your choice of rice, mashed potatoes, or toast for a complete meal.
Ingredients
- 100 g x 2 Milky Mist Butter Chiplet Pack
- 1 pc (50 g) On1Y Pepper Grinder
- 250 g French Beans - 250 G
- 1 kg Twf Bread Flour T55 - Specialised Maida
- 100 g Catch Sprinklers - Iodized Table Salt
Instructions
- 1. Melt 1/2 cup of butter in a Dutch oven or large saucepan over medium heat.
- 2. Add 1/2 cup of flour to the melted butter and stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and forms a roux, about 2 minutes.
- 3. Gradually pour in 4 cups of water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps, and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Once the sauce has thickened, add 1 can of drained french beans. Stir gently to combine and heat through for 3-5 minutes.
- 5. Season the mixture with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, adjusting to taste.
- 6. Serve the creamy mixture over toast for a hearty dinner.
