Ingredients
- 200 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 l Milk
- Pcs Eng Sandwich Bread
- 100 Ml Govind Ghee
- 20 g Cardamom Powder
- 500 g Sugar
- Pcs Saffron
- Pcs Catch Nuts Salted
Instructions
- 1. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk on medium flame and bring it to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the milk thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
- 2. Add 2 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, and a pinch of saffron strands to the milk. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3. Take 4 slices of bread and trim the edges. Roll each slice flat using a rolling pin.
- 4. Spread 1 tsp of condensed milk evenly on each bread slice, followed by a sprinkle of crushed nuts (almonds, pistachios, or cashews). Roll the bread slices tightly into cylindrical shapes.
- 5. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan on medium flame. Lightly fry the rolled bread until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- 6. Pour the prepared milk mixture over the fried rolls. Garnish with additional crushed nuts and saffron strands.
- 7. Chill the rolls for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator before serving for best flavor.
