Ingredients

  • 200 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 l Milk
  • Pcs Eng Sandwich Bread
  • 100 Ml Govind Ghee
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder
  • 500 g Sugar
  • Pcs Saffron
  • Pcs Catch Nuts Salted

Instructions

  1. 1. In a saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk on medium flame and bring it to a gentle boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until the milk thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2. Add 2 tbsp of sugar, 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, and a pinch of saffron strands to the milk. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. 3. Take 4 slices of bread and trim the edges. Roll each slice flat using a rolling pin.
  4. 4. Spread 1 tsp of condensed milk evenly on each bread slice, followed by a sprinkle of crushed nuts (almonds, pistachios, or cashews). Roll the bread slices tightly into cylindrical shapes.
  5. 5. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan on medium flame. Lightly fry the rolled bread until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels.
  6. 6. Pour the prepared milk mixture over the fried rolls. Garnish with additional crushed nuts and saffron strands.
  7. 7. Chill the rolls for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator before serving for best flavor.
