- 20 g Cardamom Powder
- 500 g Sugar
- 500 g Sabudana / Sago
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the sago pearls under running water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
- 2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the rinsed sago pearls. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the pearls turn translucent, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 3. Drain the cooked sago pearls and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set them aside in a bowl.
- 4. In a separate bowl, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and cardamom powder. Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves.
- 5. To assemble the drink, divide the cooked sago pearls equally into serving glasses. Layer the mixed fruit jelly cubes on top.
- 6. Pour the sweetened coconut milk into each glass until almost full, then drizzle a spoonful of rose syrup over the top for added flavor and color.
- 7. Add crushed ice to each glass for a chilled effect and gently stir to combine the layers before serving.
