  • 100 g Quinoa
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 0.25 g Saffron
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the quinoa thoroughly under running water and soak it for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat ghee in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them crackle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy, about 5 minutes. Mix in the diced carrot, green beans, and green peas, and sauté for another 4-5 minutes.
  5. 5. Dissolve the saffron threads in 2 tablespoons of warm water and add to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  6. 6. Add the quinoa and salt, and mix thoroughly. Pour in 400ml of water, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until the quinoa is tender and water is absorbed.
