Ingredients
- 500 Grms Ragi / Nachni Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 100 g Salt
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Hing Khoda
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Curry Leaves
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the ragi flour in a pan on medium heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent burning. Set it aside to cool.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat, add mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add hing, curry leaves, and green chilies, and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- 3. Add chopped capsicum, cabbage, and tomatoes to the pan. Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt, and cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but not mushy.
- 4. Gradually add the roasted ragi flour to the pan, stirring continuously to mix it evenly with the vegetables.
- 5. Add roasted peanuts and some water to the mixture, stirring until it forms a soft, upma-like consistency. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- 6. Garnish the upma with freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve warm and enjoy this wholesome dish with your family.
