- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 250 g Carrot
- 250 g French Beans
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 g Dahi
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Garlic
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 20 g Cardamom Green
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Tej Patta
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes, then drain it.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick, and sauté until aromatic.
- 3. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
- 4. Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes to enhance the spice flavors.
- 5. Add the diced carrots, green peas, and chopped green beans, stirring well. Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes.
- 6. Stir in the yogurt and mix evenly, ensuring it coats the vegetables and spices.
- 7. Add the soaked and drained rice to the pan, gently mixing it with the vegetable and spice mixture.
- 8. Pour in 500ml of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the pulao simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
- 9. Remove the pan from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice gently with a fork.
- 10. Garnish with chopped fresh coriander and serve warm as a hearty breakfast dish.
