Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 20 g Cinnamon
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 20 g Cardamom Green
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Tej Patta
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes, then drain it.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon stick, and sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until softened.
  4. 4. Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 1-2 minutes to enhance the spice flavors.
  5. 5. Add the diced carrots, green peas, and chopped green beans, stirring well. Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in the yogurt and mix evenly, ensuring it coats the vegetables and spices.
  7. 7. Add the soaked and drained rice to the pan, gently mixing it with the vegetable and spice mixture.
  8. 8. Pour in 500ml of water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the pulao simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
  9. 9. Remove the pan from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. Fluff the rice gently with a fork.
