Ingredients

  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100G Oleo
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Crumble the tofu finely in a bowl and set aside. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add the chopped onion and green chili, sautéing until the onion turns translucent.
  2. 2. Stir in turmeric powder, garam masala, and red chili powder, cooking for 1-2 minutes. Add the crumbled tofu, salt, and chopped coriander leaves, mixing well. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is dry and aromatic. Let it cool.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, yogurt, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil. Gradually add water (as needed) to knead into a smooth, pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball. Flatten a ball, place a spoonful of the tofu filling in the center, and seal the edges to encase the filling. Roll gently into a flat disc, ensuring the filling doesn’t spill out.
  5. 5. Heat a tawa or flat skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until bubbles appear. Flip, brush with ghee or butter, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat for all parathas.
  6. 6. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or your favorite chutney for a delicious and wholesome breakfast.
