Ingredients
- 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 500 g Onion
- 100G Oleo
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Ghee
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Crumble the tofu finely in a bowl and set aside. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of oil, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add the chopped onion and green chili, sautéing until the onion turns translucent.
- 2. Stir in turmeric powder, garam masala, and red chili powder, cooking for 1-2 minutes. Add the crumbled tofu, salt, and chopped coriander leaves, mixing well. Cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until the mixture is dry and aromatic. Let it cool.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, yogurt, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil. Gradually add water (as needed) to knead into a smooth, pliable dough. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- 4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball. Flatten a ball, place a spoonful of the tofu filling in the center, and seal the edges to encase the filling. Roll gently into a flat disc, ensuring the filling doesn’t spill out.
- 5. Heat a tawa or flat skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled paratha on the skillet, cooking for 1-2 minutes until bubbles appear. Flip, brush with ghee or butter, and cook until golden brown on both sides. Repeat for all parathas.
- 6. Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or your favorite chutney for a delicious and wholesome breakfast.
