Ingredients
- 500 g Curd
- 200 g Table Salt
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 500 g Sugar
- Pcs Everest Chaat Masala 12g
Instructions
- 1. Gather all ingredients: 2 cups of fresh curd (yogurt), 1 cup of cold water, 2 tablespoons of sugar (adjust to taste), a pinch of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, 1/4 teaspoon of chaat masala, and a few ice cubes (optional).
- 2. Ensure the curd is fresh and well-chilled for a refreshing lassi. If using homemade curd, refrigerate it for at least 2 hours before use.
- 3. Take a large mixing bowl and add the chilled curd to it. Whisk the curd gently using a whisk or spoon until it becomes smooth and lump-free.
- 4. Gradually add the cold water to the curd while whisking continuously. This helps in achieving the desired consistency of the lassi. Adjust the water quantity based on your preference for thickness.
- 5. Add sugar to the mixture and whisk again until the sugar dissolves completely. Taste and adjust the sweetness as needed.
- 6. Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor. Mix well to ensure even distribution.
- 7. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder and chaat masala into the lassi. These spices add a unique Punjabi flavor to the drink.
- 8. If you prefer a chilled lassi, add a few ice cubes to the mixture and stir gently. Alternatively, you can serve the lassi over ice cubes in glasses.
- 9. Pour the prepared lassi into serving glasses. Ensure the glasses are clean and preferably chilled for a better experience.
- 10. Garnish the lassi with a pinch of roasted cumin powder and chaat masala on top for an extra burst of flavor.
- 11. Serve the Punjabi Lassi immediately as a refreshing drink or as an accompaniment to your meal. Enjoy!
