- 200 g Paneer
- 200Ml Kara Coconut Milk Classic (200ml)
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 100 g Tamarind Paste
- - Coconut Oil
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter, then add curry leaves, green chilies, and chopped onion. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.
- 2. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and release oil.
- 3. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes to bloom the spices.
- 4. Pour in the coconut milk and tamarind pulp, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- 5. Add the paneer cubes and salt, mixing gently to avoid breaking the paneer. Cover and let the stew simmer for 8-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Turn off the heat and let the stew rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
