Ingredients
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 250 g Spinach
- 100G Oleo
- 500 g Urad Dal
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500g Swad Roasted Rice Powder 500g
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the yellow moong dal and urad dal thoroughly, then soak them in water for 4-6 hours or overnight.
- 2. Drain the soaked lentils and blend them into a smooth batter using a blender, adding a small amount of water for consistency.
- 3. Finely chop the spinach leaves and mix them into the batter along with green chili, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, chopped coriander leaves, rice flour, and salt.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil.
- 5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly into a thin pancake. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding oil as needed, to make more cheelas.
- 7. Serve hot with mint chutney, yogurt, or any preferred dipping sauce for a wholesome meal.
