- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Hing Khoda
- 100G Oleo
- 400G Chtoura Foods Boiled Chickpeas In Brine
- - Green Peas
- - Besan
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Mash the boiled chickpeas and green peas in a large mixing bowl until smooth but slightly textured.
- 2. Add chickpea flour, green chili, coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, hing, lemon juice, and salt to the mashed mixture. Combine thoroughly into a dough-like consistency.
- 3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into flat, round tikkis, approximately 1 cm thick.
- 4. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once hot, place the tikkis in the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden-brown and crispy.
- 5. Remove the tikkis from the pan and let them rest on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
