Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 200 g Paneer
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. In a bowl, crumble 200g of paneer into small pieces. Add 1/2 cup grated carrot, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, and 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
  2. 2. Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, and salt to taste. Mix well to combine and set aside.
  3. 3. Prepare the momo dough by mixing 1 cup of wheat flour (maida) with 1/4 tsp table salt and water. Knead into a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. While the dough is resting, prepare the tikka masala. Heat 1 tbsp Champion oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute until fragrant. Add 1/2 tsp red chili powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp garam masala. Stir well and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. 5. After the dough has rested, divide it into small balls. Roll each ball into a thin, round wrapper using a rolling pin.
  6. 6. Place a spoonful of the paneer mixture in the center of each wrapper. Fold and pleat the edges to seal the momos.
  7. 7. Grease a steamer plate with Champion oil and arrange the momos on it. Steam for 10-12 minutes until cooked.
  8. 8. Once the momos are steamed, toss them in the prepared tikka masala until they are well-coated.
  9. 9. Serve the Paneer Tikka Momos hot with mint chutney.
