Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- 200 g Dahi
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 25 g Kasuri Methi
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- - Dairy Milk
- - Fresh Cream
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, milk, and a pinch of salt. Knead into a soft dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, sauté the onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add tomato puree to the pan and cook until the oil separates, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook the spices for 1-2 minutes.
- 5. Stir in yogurt and mix well, ensuring the mixture does not curdle. Add fresh cream and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 6. Add paneer cubes and gently coat them with the masala. Sprinkle garam masala and kasuri methi. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes.
- 7. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into thin rotis. Cook each roti on a hot tawa until golden spots appear on both sides.
- 8. Serve the Paneer Dum Masala hot with freshly made whole wheat rotis.
