Ingredients

  • 100 g Garlic
  • 500 g Chicken Winglets
  • 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Mustard Paste
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray with aluminium foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. 2. Rinse 500 grams of chicken wings under cold water and pat them completely dry using a paper towel to ensure crispiness.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix well to form a marinade.
  4. 4. Add the dried chicken wings to the marinade and toss them thoroughly until evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, for maximum flavour.
  5. 5. After marinating, arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each wing to ensure even cooking.
  6. 6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  7. 7. After 25 minutes, carefully flip the wings using tongs to ensure both sides cook evenly. Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  8. 8. While the wings are baking, prepare a dipping sauce by mixing 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of mustard sauce, 1 teaspoon of honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Adjust the consistency with a splash of milk if needed.
  9. 9. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes.
  10. 10. Serve the oven-baked chicken wings hot, garnished with freshly chopped coriander leaves and lemon wedges, alongside the prepared dipping sauce.
