Ingredients
- 100 g Garlic
- 500 g Chicken Winglets
- 190 ml White Cooking Vinegar
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Mustard Paste
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and line a baking tray with aluminium foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- 2. Rinse 500 grams of chicken wings under cold water and pat them completely dry using a paper towel to ensure crispiness.
- 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix well to form a marinade.
- 4. Add the dried chicken wings to the marinade and toss them thoroughly until evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight, for maximum flavour.
- 5. After marinating, arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each wing to ensure even cooking.
- 6. Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- 7. After 25 minutes, carefully flip the wings using tongs to ensure both sides cook evenly. Return the tray to the oven and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- 8. While the wings are baking, prepare a dipping sauce by mixing 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of mustard sauce, 1 teaspoon of honey, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl. Adjust the consistency with a splash of milk if needed.
- 9. Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for 2-3 minutes.
- 10. Serve the oven-baked chicken wings hot, garnished with freshly chopped coriander leaves and lemon wedges, alongside the prepared dipping sauce.
