Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Besan
- 100 g Jeera
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Grind the rolled oats into a fine powder using a blender or grinder, then transfer it to a mixing bowl.
- 2. Add the chickpea flour, cumin seeds, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt to the oats flour. Mix well.
- 3. Stir in the chopped capsicum, tomato, cabbage, and coriander leaves. Gradually add water while mixing to create a smooth, pourable batter.
- 4. Heat a non-stick skillet or tawa over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the skillet and spread it into a thin circle. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift, then flip and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet as needed.
- 7. Serve the oats vegetable cheela hot with a side of yogurt or chutney for a delicious and healthy meal.
