Ingredients

  • 200 g Dates
  • 0.25 g Saffron
  • 100g Good Life Yellow Kishmish 100 G
  • 100 g Almonds
  • Unsalted Sliced Pistachio (Unsalted) (100g)
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder
  • 500 g Jaggery Powder
  • 100 g Oats Jumbo
  • 500 ml Skimmed Milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the pitted dates in warm almond milk for 10 minutes, then blend them into a smooth paste using a blender.
  2. 2. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until aromatic, then grind them into a fine powder.
  3. 3. In a saucepan, heat the remaining almond milk on medium flame and add the ground oats. Stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. 4. Once the mixture begins to thicken, add the date paste, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Mix well and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. If desired, add jaggery powder for extra sweetness and stir until dissolved.
  6. 6. Turn off the heat and add rose water, stirring to combine.
  7. 7. Pour the phirni into serving bowls and garnish with chopped pistachios, almonds, and raisins.
