Ingredients
- 100 g Oats Jumbo
- - Besan
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Spinach
- - Chaat Masala
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 250 g Carrot
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Jeera
- 500g Organic Tattva Raw Peanuts / Groundnuts 500 G
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Blend the rolled oats into a fine powder using a mixer or grinder, then transfer to a mixing bowl.
- 2. Add besan, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.
- 3. Add chopped onion, tomato, green chili, grated carrot, spinach, and crushed peanuts. Mix to combine.
- 4. Gradually add yogurt and a little water to the mixture to form a smooth, pourable batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan or tawa on medium heat and lightly grease it with 1/2 tsp oil.
- 6. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it gently into a circular shape. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
- 7. Flip the cheela and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes, adding a few drops of oil around the edges if needed.
- 8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, greasing the pan lightly between each cheela.
- 9. Serve warm with yogurt, mint chutney, or tomato ketchup for dipping.
