Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Mutton
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 50 g Cloves
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- 20 g Cardamom Powder
- 100 g Tej Patta
Instructions
- 1. Clean the mutton trotters (paya) thoroughly under running water to remove any impurities. Set aside.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste to the onions and sauté for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Add the cleaned mutton trotters, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Stir well to coat the trotters with the spices.
- 5. Pour in water and add whole spices (black cardamom, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon stick). Pressure cook for 45 minutes or until the trotters are soft and tender.
- 6. Once cooked, carefully release the pressure and open the cooker. Add salt, black pepper powder, and garam masala. Simmer for 15 minutes to enhance the flavors.
- 7. Garnish the soup with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or steamed rice.
