- 250 g Mutton
- 200 g Bhel Murmura
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat mustard oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it starts to smoke slightly, then lower the heat to prevent burning.
- 2. Add curry leaves and green chilies to the oil and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan, and cook for 5-7 minutes until they soften and release their juices.
- 4. Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder, and cook for 2-3 minutes to toast the spices.
- 5. Add the mutton pieces to the pan, and mix well to coat them evenly with the spice mixture. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton begins to brown slightly.
- 6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the mutton cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and fully cooked. Add a splash of water if needed to prevent sticking.
- 7. Once the mutton is fully cooked, sprinkle garam masala and stir well to combine. Adjust salt to taste.
- 8. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Add the puffed rice to the pan, and toss gently to mix everything together without breaking the rice.
