- - Coriander Powder
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 500 g Refined Flour
- 100 g Garlic
- 200 g Dahi
- - Toned Milk
- 100 g Baking Powder
- 1 box Baking Soda
- 100 g Unsalted Butter
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Add yogurt, milk, and knead into a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
- 2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter, then add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes. Stir in turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder. Cook until aromatic.
- 4. Add the mutton pieces to the cooker and sauté for 5-7 minutes until lightly browned. Add tomato puree, yogurt, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- 5. Pour in enough water to cover the mutton, close the pressure cooker lid, and cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes (or until the mutton is tender). Release the pressure naturally.
- 6. Open the lid, stir in garam masala, and simmer for 5-7 minutes to thicken the gravy to your desired consistency.
- 7. Divide the rested naan dough into small balls. Roll each ball into an oval or round shape and sprinkle minced garlic on top.
- 8. Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat. Cook each naan for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffed and golden brown. Brush with butter after cooking.
- 9. Serve the mutton masala hot with the freshly made garlic naan for a hearty and satisfying meal.
