Ingredients
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 500 g Onion
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat and add the mustard seeds. Once they start popping, add the curry leaves and sauté for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the chopped onion and green chili to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
- 3. Stir in the chopped tomato and cook for another 3-4 minutes until softened, then add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- 4. Add the diced bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- 5. Toss in the idli pieces and gently mix to coat them with the masala. Cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the idlis to absorb the flavors.
- 6. Turn off the heat and sprinkle the dish with chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix gently.
- 7. Serve the Masala Idli Fry warm and enjoy a flavorful breakfast with your family.
