Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Chicken Breast Slices
- 120 g Burger Buns
- Pcs Dr Oet Veg Mayonnaise
- 200 g Table Salt
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Black Pepper Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken breast slices with a pinch of table salt, a teaspoon of cumin powder, a teaspoon of Everest garam masala, a tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, and a dash of soy sauce (if available). Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Let the chicken marinate for 30 minutes.
- 2. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the other components. Slice the onion thinly and chop the green chilli into small pieces. Set these aside.
- 3. After the marination time is complete, heat a tablespoon of champion oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. Remove half of the sautéed onions from the pan and set them aside for assembling the burger later.
- 4. In the same pan, add the marinated chicken breast slices. Cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Stir in the chopped green chillies during the last 2 minutes of cooking for added heat.
- 5. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes. If desired, shred the chicken into smaller pieces for easier assembly in the burger. Alternatively, you can leave the chicken slices whole.
- 6. To assemble the burger, take the bottom half of a burger bun and spread a layer of veg mayonnaise (eggless) or tomato ketchup, as preferred. Place the cooked chicken (shredded or whole) on top, followed by the reserved sautéed onions. Sprinkle a pinch of black pepper powder for added flavor.
- 7. Cover with the top half of the burger bun. Repeat the process for the remaining buns and ingredients.
- 8. Serve the momo burgers hot. Optionally, you can add extra mayonnaise or ketchup on the side for dipping.
