Ingredients

  • 300 g Shiro Miso Paste
  • 500 g Onion
  • 50 g Honey
  • 50 g White Sesame Seeds
  • 1 kg Beef Boneless
  • 100 g Ginger
  • - Garlic Paste
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the udon noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix the shiro miso paste, soy sauce, and a tablespoon of Champion Oil. Add the boneless beef slices to the mixture and marinate for at least 15 minutes. While the beef marinates, prepare the other ingredients: finely chop the onion, measure out the red chili powder, and set aside the garlic paste, ginger garlic paste, honey, and white sesame seeds.
  3. 3. Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of Champion Oil. Once hot, add the chopped onion and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. 4. Add the garlic paste, ginger garlic paste, and red chili powder to the pan. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. 5. Add the marinated beef to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
  6. 6. Pour a small amount of water or beef broth into the pan to create a sauce. Stir in the honey and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  7. 7. Add the cooked udon noodles to the pan and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to warm the noodles through.
  8. 8. Serve the miso udon noodles with chili beef hot, garnished with white sesame seeds for added flavor and texture.
