Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- Pcs Balaji Moong Dal
- - Mint Leaf
- 50G Green Chilies
- - Bread Crumbs-50Gms
- - Rice Flour
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the split yellow moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 2-3 hours. Drain the water completely.
- 2. In a blender, grind the soaked lentils into a coarse paste. Avoid adding water to ensure the mixture stays thick.
- 3. Transfer the lentil paste to a mixing bowl. Add finely chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, asafoetida, garam masala, rice flour, and salt. Mix well to combine.
- 4. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small, flat patties.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan or skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil for shallow frying.
- 6. Place the patties onto the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crisp. Flip carefully to avoid breaking.
- 7. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 8. Serve the Mini Lentil & Herb Patties warm with your choice of chutney or yogurt for dipping.
