Ingredients

  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 g Carrot
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 500 g Rava
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 250 g French Beans

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the semolina in a pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant, then set aside.
  2. 2. Heat ghee in a large pan and add mustard seeds; allow them to splutter before adding curry leaves and green chilies.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, followed by the tomato and cook until softened.
  4. 4. Mix in the diced carrot, beans, and peas, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt, stirring well.
  5. 5. Gradually add the roasted semolina to the pan while stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
  6. 6. Pour in hot water (about 600ml) in small amounts while stirring, and cook on low heat until the semolina absorbs the water and reaches a soft, fluffy texture.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
