Ingredients
- 200 ml Ghee
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Carrot
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Lemon
- 500 g Rava
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 250 g French Beans
Instructions
- 1. Dry roast the semolina in a pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant, then set aside.
- 2. Heat ghee in a large pan and add mustard seeds; allow them to splutter before adding curry leaves and green chilies.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, followed by the tomato and cook until softened.
- 4. Mix in the diced carrot, beans, and peas, and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add turmeric powder and salt, stirring well.
- 5. Gradually add the roasted semolina to the pan while stirring continuously to prevent lumps.
- 6. Pour in hot water (about 600ml) in small amounts while stirring, and cook on low heat until the semolina absorbs the water and reaches a soft, fluffy texture.
- 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
