Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 G Lasun Khobra Chutney
  • 50 g Masala Sambhar
  • 1Kg Potato
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. 2. Add chopped onions and green chili, cooking until the onions turn translucent. Stir in turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
  3. 3. Mash the boiled potatoes and add them to the pan. Mix well, ensuring the spices coat the potatoes evenly. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves, then remove from heat.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread it out thinly in a circular motion to form a crepe.
  5. 5. Cook the dosa until golden and crisp on one side, then place 2-3 tablespoons of the potato masala filling in the center. Fold the dosa over the filling.
  6. 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and filling to make additional dosas.
  7. 7. Serve the tawa masala dosa hot with coconut chutney and sambar for a complete breakfast.
