Ingredients
- 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
- 500 g Onion
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 G Lasun Khobra Chutney
- 50 g Masala Sambhar
- 1Kg Potato
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves. Sauté until fragrant.
- 2. Add chopped onions and green chili, cooking until the onions turn translucent. Stir in turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt.
- 3. Mash the boiled potatoes and add them to the pan. Mix well, ensuring the spices coat the potatoes evenly. Add lemon juice and coriander leaves, then remove from heat.
- 4. Heat a non-stick tawa or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour a ladle of dosa batter and spread it out thinly in a circular motion to form a crepe.
- 5. Cook the dosa until golden and crisp on one side, then place 2-3 tablespoons of the potato masala filling in the center. Fold the dosa over the filling.
- 6. Repeat the process with the remaining batter and filling to make additional dosas.
- 7. Serve the tawa masala dosa hot with coconut chutney and sambar for a complete breakfast.
