Ingredients

  • Pcs Fortune Besan 200gms
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Ajwain
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • - Chaat Masala
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2. Add the finely chopped onion, grated carrot, chopped tomato, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the bowl. Mix until evenly distributed.
  3. 3. Add yogurt and gradually pour in water while stirring to create a smooth, lump-free batter with a pouring consistency.
  4. 4. Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently to form a thin pancake.
  5. 5. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom turns golden brown. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes, adding a little oil if necessary.
  6. 6. Remove the chilla from the tawa and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
