Ingredients
- Pcs Fortune Besan 200gms
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Carrot
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Ajwain
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Salt
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Chaat Masala
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, carom seeds, chaat masala, and salt. Mix well.
- 2. Add the finely chopped onion, grated carrot, chopped tomato, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the bowl. Mix until evenly distributed.
- 3. Add yogurt and gradually pour in water while stirring to create a smooth, lump-free batter with a pouring consistency.
- 4. Heat a tawa (griddle) on medium heat and lightly grease it with oil. Once hot, pour a ladleful of batter onto the tawa and spread it gently to form a thin pancake.
- 5. Cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift and the bottom turns golden brown. Flip carefully and cook the other side for another 2 minutes, adding a little oil if necessary.
- 6. Remove the chilla from the tawa and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- 7. Serve the masaledar tawa besan chilla hot with chutney, yogurt, or ketchup on the side for a wholesome breakfast.
