  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 500 g Capsicum Green

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour with a pinch of salt and gradually add water to form a smooth, pliable dough. Cover and set aside for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Prepare the stuffing by heating 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and hing, allowing them to sizzle. Stir in cabbage, capsicum, and tomato, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
  3. 3. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the vegetables. Stir well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in chopped coriander leaves and green chilies. Let the mixture cool.
  4. 4. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the cooled vegetable stuffing in the center and fold the edges to seal. Flatten gently and roll into a paratha.
  5. 5. Heat a skillet or tawa on medium heat and cook each paratha for 1-2 minutes per side, brushing lightly with oil, until golden and crispy.
  6. 6. Serve the masala veggie parathas warm with plain yogurt or tangy pickle for a delicious breakfast.
