Ingredients

  • 500 g Onion
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 200 g Paneer
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the dough by mixing 2 cups of wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and water in a bowl. Knead until it forms a smooth and soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 1 hour.
  2. 2. For the filling, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  3. 3. Add 1 finely chopped onion and sauté until golden brown. Then, add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute.
  4. 4. Add 1 cup of grated paneer, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of garam masala, and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into small equal-sized balls. Roll each ball into a small disc using a rolling pin.
  6. 6. Place a spoonful of the prepared filling in the center of each disc. Carefully bring the edges together to seal the filling inside, forming a stuffed ball.
  7. 7. Steam the stuffed balls in a steamer for about 15-20 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and firm to the touch.
  8. 8. Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind chutney.
