Ingredients
- - Malai Paneer
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 g Dahi
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Besan
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, mix besan, turmeric powder, red chili powder, a pinch of salt, and water to form a smooth batter. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add onions, green chilies, and ginger paste. Sauté until onions are translucent.
- 3. Add tomatoes, garam masala, and salt to the pan. Cook until the tomatoes are soft, then add crumbled paneer. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix in coriander leaves and set aside.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly. Pour a ladle of the besan batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circle. Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 5. Spread a thin layer of chutney on each cheela, then add a portion of the paneer filling in the center. Roll the cheela into a wrap.
- 6. Repeat with the remaining batter and filling. Serve warm with extra chutney on the side.
