Ingredients
- 1 Kg Idly/Dosa Batter
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- 100G Oleo
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a bowl, mix the grated paneer with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Set aside for 5 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
- 2. Heat a non-stick tawa or skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with 1/2 tablespoon of vegetable oil.
- 3. Pour a ladleful of dosa batter onto the tawa and spread it gently into a thick round pancake, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
- 4. Quickly sprinkle a generous layer of the spiced paneer mixture evenly over the batter, followed by chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili, coriander leaves, and cumin seeds.
- 5. Drizzle a little oil around the edges of the uttapam and cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the bottom turns golden brown.
- 6. Flip the uttapam carefully using a spatula and cook the other side for another 2 minutes until the toppings are slightly crisp and cooked well.
- 7. Remove from the tawa, repeat with the remaining batter and toppings, and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
