Ingredients

  • 100 g Oats Jumbo
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • - Green Peas
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 50 g Cumin Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes until they emit a nutty aroma, then set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds; allow them to splutter before adding curry leaves and green chili.
  3. 3. Stir in the turmeric powder, diced carrot, green peas, and chopped tomato; cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat until the vegetables soften.
  4. 4. Add the roasted oats to the pan along with salt and mix well. Pour a small amount of water to slightly moisten the oats and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder and mix thoroughly. Adjust seasoning as needed.
