Ingredients

  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • - Besan
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and soak moong dal in water for 4 hours, then drain and grind into a coarse paste using minimal water.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the moong dal paste, besan, onion, green chilies, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder, yogurt, fresh coriander, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well to form a thick batter.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Scoop small portions of the batter and shape them into bite-sized patties.
  4. 4. Cook the patties on the pan for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp. Flip gently to avoid breaking.
