Ingredients
- 500 Grms Bajra Atta Millets Atta 500 Grms
- 200Ml Kara Coconut Milk Classic (200ml)
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 500g Good Life Raw Peanuts 500 G
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Til
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly and soak it in water for 30 minutes. Drain the water before cooking.
- 2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add the cooking oil. Once warm, add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- 3. Add asafoetida, curry leaves, and chopped green chili to the pan. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- 4. Mix in the cumin seeds, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir for another minute to toast the spices.
- 5. Add the drained millet to the pan and stir well to coat it with the spices. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Pour in the coconut milk and stir. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the millet is cooked and creamy.
- 7. Add salt, roasted peanuts, and sesame seeds. Mix well and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- 8. Turn off the heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander. Serve warm in bowls, optionally adding extra peanuts for garnish.
