Ingredients

  • 250 G Masur Dal
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 1 head Cauliflower
  • 250 g French Beans
  • 100G Oleo
  • 300 g Ginger Paste
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly under running water and set aside to drain.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden and translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the ginger paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and form a thick paste, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in the lentils and mix well. Add enough water to cover the lentils, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the cauliflower, green beans, and spinach to the pot. Mix well and simmer for another 10-12 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
