- 250 G Masur Dal
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 250 g Spinach
- 1 head Cauliflower
- 250 g French Beans
- 100G Oleo
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly under running water and set aside to drain.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden and translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the ginger paste and cook for 1 minute.
- 4. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften and form a thick paste, about 5-7 minutes.
- 5. Stir in the lentils and mix well. Add enough water to cover the lentils, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 6. Add the cauliflower, green beans, and spinach to the pot. Mix well and simmer for another 10-12 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 7. Sprinkle garam masala and stir to combine. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 8. Garnish the stew with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
