A hearty and flavorful dinner featuring layers of tortillas, seasoned beef, beans, and creamy cheese, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 100 g The Baker'S Dozen Zero Maida Pita Bread, Whole Wheat
- 150 g Mooz Cream Cheese
- 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
- 500 G Preserved Dried Salted Black Beans
- 200 g Cremeitalia Sour Cream
- 250 g Habanero Spicy Salsa Dip
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. In a skillet over medium heat, mix 1/2 tsp of Mirchi Powder with preserved dried salted black beans and cook until heated through.
- 3. In a 13 x 9-inch baking dish, place whole wheat pita bread, torn into pieces, to cover the bottom.
- 4. Spread the cooked bean mixture evenly over the pita bread. Then, layer spicy salsa dip over the beans.
- 5. Spread cream cheese evenly over the salsa layer.
- 6. Spread sour cream evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- 7. Cover with another layer of whole wheat pita bread, pressing down gently to compact the layers.
- 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the layers are heated through and slightly golden.
- 9. Let the dish cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
