Ingredients
- 250 g Mutton
- 200 g Dahi
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Cashew Regular
- 100G Oleo
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Switz Puff Dough Paratha
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 100 g Ajwain
- 200 ml Ghee
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- 3. Add the lamb cubes and sear until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- 4. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes until aromatic.
- 5. Add the tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes until the oil separates. Mix in the yogurt and cashew paste, stirring well to combine.
- 6. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover, and cook for 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the lamb is tender and the curry is thickened. Add garam masala in the last 5 minutes of cooking.
- 7. While the lamb cooks, prepare the spiced parathas. Mix ground cumin and carom seeds, then sprinkle evenly over each paratha. Press the spices lightly into the dough.
- 8. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook each paratha with a little ghee for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and flaky.
- 9. Serve the lamb korma hot with the spiced parathas on the side.
