Ingredients

  • - Chicken Breast
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • 100G Oleo
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • - Fresh Cream
  • 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera Powder
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Combine whole wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and water to knead a soft dough for the lachha parathas. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, then stir in the chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add pureed tomatoes to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens. Stir in cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt, cooking for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add chicken thighs to the pan, coat well with the masala, and cook covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5. Pour in fresh cream and sprinkle garam masala, simmering the curry for 5 minutes until the chicken is tender and the sauce is rich.
  6. 6. Divide the dough into equal portions, roll into thin circles, and fold into layers before rolling out again to create the lachha effect.
  7. 7. Heat ghee on a tava or flat pan, cook each paratha until golden and crisp on both sides.
  8. 8. Serve the hot lachha parathas alongside the chilli butter chicken masala, garnished with fresh coriander.
