Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 1 ltr Real Fruit Power Tomato Juice
- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
- 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 kg Rajdhani Red Rajma
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2. Add the chopped onion, chili powder, and salt to the pot. Stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the onion softens.
- 3. Pour in the tomato juice and add the drained kidney beans. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 4. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with a few tablespoons of cold water to create a slurry. Gradually add this to the pot while stirring to thicken the chili.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed before serving hot.
