Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 20G Curry Leaves
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Suji
- 1 piece Coconut
- - Red Chilli
- - Rice Flour
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- 100 G Malvani Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
- 500 g Refined Flour
Instructions
- 1. Wash the chicken thoroughly under running water and pat dry. Set aside.
- 2. In a bowl, marinate the chicken with turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and lemon juice. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a deep pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Add ginger-garlic paste to the onions and sauté for 2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
- 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft and oil starts to separate.
- 6. Mix in Malvani masala, coriander powder, and garam masala. Stir well for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
- 7. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and mix well to coat it in the masala. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 8. Pour in 1 cup of water. Cover the pan and let the chicken simmer for 15 minutes, or until tender and fully cooked.
- 9. To prepare the vade dough, mix rice flour, semolina, turmeric powder, salt, and warm water in a bowl to form a stiff dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- 10. Divide the vade dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a disc about 4-5 inches in diameter.
- 11. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the vade one by one until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- 12. Serve the hot chicken curry with freshly fried vade. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and enjoy!
