Ingredients

  • 10 pcs Prawns
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200Ml Kara Coconut Milk Classic (200ml)
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering, add curry leaves and green chilies, sautéing for 1 minute.
  2. 2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 7-8 minutes. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
  3. 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until softened, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well to form a thick masala base.
  4. 4. Pour in the coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the prawns and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
  5. 5. Sprinkle garam masala over the curry and give it a final stir. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice or appams.
