Ingredients
- 10 pcs Prawns
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200Ml Kara Coconut Milk Classic (200ml)
- - Coconut Oil
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
Instructions
- 1. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds. Once they start spluttering, add curry leaves and green chilies, sautéing for 1 minute.
- 2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown, about 7-8 minutes. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
- 3. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until softened, about 5-6 minutes. Stir in turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well to form a thick masala base.
- 4. Pour in the coconut milk and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the prawns and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
- 5. Sprinkle garam masala over the curry and give it a final stir. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice or appams.
