  • 50 Grms Garam Masala Handmade Spices 50 Grms
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • 20 g Cinnamon
  • 50 g Cloves
  • - Green Cardamom Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Tej Patta

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear, then soak it in fresh water for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat the ghee in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat. Add the whole spices (bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, and green cardamom) and sauté until aromatic, about 2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
  5. 5. Add the minced meat (keema) to the pot and cook, stirring frequently, until the meat is browned and any excess moisture has evaporated, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the mixture is well combined, about 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Drain the soaked rice and gently add it to the pot. Stir well to coat the rice in the keema mixture, then pour in the water and season with salt to taste.
  8. 8. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid, and let it simmer for 15 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.
  9. 9. Turn off the heat and let the Keema Rice rest, covered, for 5 minutes. Gently fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
