Ingredients

  • 250 g Mutton
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • - Coriander Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  3. 3. Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates, stirring occasionally. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Mix in coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend the spices.
  5. 5. Add the mutton pieces and stir to coat them evenly with the masala. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Lower the heat, add the whisked yogurt, and mix well. Cover and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is tender.
  7. 7. Add the diced green bell pepper and slit green chilies. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to soften the bell pepper slightly.
  8. 8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  9. 9. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed basmati rice.
