Ingredients
- 250 g Mutton
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 500 g Onion
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- - Coriander Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 200 g Dahi
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter for a few seconds.
- 2. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- 3. Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates, stirring occasionally. This should take about 5-7 minutes.
- 4. Mix in coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend the spices.
- 5. Add the mutton pieces and stir to coat them evenly with the masala. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 6. Lower the heat, add the whisked yogurt, and mix well. Cover and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mutton is tender.
- 7. Add the diced green bell pepper and slit green chilies. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to soften the bell pepper slightly.
- 8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Turn off the heat and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- 9. Serve hot with naan, roti, or steamed basmati rice.
