Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Poha
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Green Peas
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Lemon
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the poha under running water in a colander until it softens. Set aside to drain completely.
- 2. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a kadhai or large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- 3. Add chopped onion and green chilies to the pan. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
- 4. Stir in the tomatoes and cook until they soften, about 3-4 minutes. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala, and sauté for another minute.
- 5. Add the green bell pepper and green peas. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still slightly crisp.
- 6. Gently fold in the paneer cubes and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the spices to coat the paneer evenly.
- 7. Add the softened poha to the pan, sprinkle with salt to taste, and mix well to combine all the ingredients. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring gently to avoid breaking the poha.
- 8. Turn off the heat and squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the poha. Mix well.
- 9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
