Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Onion
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- - Coriander Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. To prepare the Kadhai Paneer, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, then add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
- 2. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate.
- 3. Add the diced capsicum and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, add the paneer cubes, toss gently to coat, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Adjust salt and set aside.
- 4. For the Moong Dal Chilla, blend the soaked moong dal into a smooth batter. Add turmeric, cumin seeds, green chili, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it out into a thin circle.
- 6. Cook the chilla on medium heat until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
- 7. Serve the Kadhai Paneer hot alongside the freshly made Moong Dal Chilla for a wholesome breakfast.
