Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Onion
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. To prepare the Kadhai Paneer, heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the chopped onion and sauté until golden brown, then add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  2. 2. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and the oil starts to separate.
  3. 3. Add the diced capsicum and cook for 3-4 minutes. Then, add the paneer cubes, toss gently to coat, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Adjust salt and set aside.
  4. 4. For the Moong Dal Chilla, blend the soaked moong dal into a smooth batter. Add turmeric, cumin seeds, green chili, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix well.
  5. 5. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it out into a thin circle.
  6. 6. Cook the chilla on medium heat until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook the other side. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  7. 7. Serve the Kadhai Paneer hot alongside the freshly made Moong Dal Chilla for a wholesome breakfast.
