Ingredients

  • - Shrimps
  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • - Bell Peppers
  • 2 pcs Zucchini
  • 1 l Refined Soyabean Oil
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 100 g Cornflour

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the ingredients by washing the bell peppers and zucchini. Cut them into long strips suitable for frying.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix 150g of Fortune Maida with 50g of Weikfield Cornflour. This will be the dry component of your batter.
  3. 3. Crack 2 Yojana Poultry White Power Eggs into a separate bowl, and whisk them until the yolks and whites are completely mixed.
  4. 4. Gradually add water (about 1 cup, preferably ice-cold) to the egg mixture, and continue to whisk until well blended.
  5. 5. Combine the egg mixture with the dry flour mixture little by little, gently mixing to create a batter. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  6. 6. Heat Patanjali Sunflower Oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (356°F). Ensure there's enough oil for deep frying.
  7. 7. Dip the shrimp, zucchini, and bell pepper strips into the batter to coat them evenly.
  8. 8. Carefully place the coated shrimps and veggies into the hot oil. Fry them in batches to avoid overcrowding, until they are golden and crispy.
  9. 9. Remove the tempura from the oil with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  10. 10. Serve the tempura hot with a side of Ching's Secret Dark Soy Sauce for dipping.
