- 200 g Paneer
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- - Green Peas
- 200 ml Ghee
- 300 g Ginger Paste
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the sliced onion to the pan and sauté until golden brown, followed by the ginger and garlic paste, cooking for another minute.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomato, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, cooking until the tomato softens and the mixture forms a thick masala.
- 5. Add the diced capsicum and green peas to the pan, cooking for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- 6. Add the paneer cubes to the pan, gently mixing them with the vegetable masala to coat evenly.
- 7. In a separate pot, cook the soaked basmati rice in boiling water until fluffy and fully cooked, then drain.
- 8. Combine the cooked rice with the paneer and vegetable mixture, stirring gently to ensure even seasoning.
- 9. Sprinkle garam masala and fresh chopped coriander over the dish, then drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of ghee for added richness.
