- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1 Kg Lokwan Premium Wheat Atta 1 Kg
- 200 g Dahi
- - Toned Milk
- 400G Chtoura Foods Boiled Chickpeas In Brine
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Baking Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a blender, add the boiled chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, roasted cumin powder, asafoetida, salt, and red chili powder. Blend until smooth, adding a little water if needed to achieve a creamy consistency. Set the hummus aside.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt. Add yogurt, milk, and oil, mixing to form a soft dough. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- 3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a thin, round pita. Heat a tawa or skillet over medium heat and cook each pita for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffed and golden brown.
