Ingredients
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- - Hakka Noodles Veg
- - Sweet Corn
- - Dry Yeast
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- 500 g Sugar
Instructions
- 1. In a large bowl, combine 500g of fortune maida/refined flour with 25g of happychef dry yeast.
- 2. Add 1 tablespoon of madhur sugar and mix well.
- 3. Gradually add warm water while mixing until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- 4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
- 5. After the dough has risen, divide it into small balls and flatten each ball into a circle.
- 6. Prepare the filling by mixing cooked desi hakka noodles veg, a small amount of frozen sweet corn, a dash of nilon's soya sauce, and a sprinkle of everest white pepper powder.
- 7. Place a spoonful of the prepared filling in the center of each dough circle, then pinch the edges together to seal it, forming a ball shape.
- 8. In a heated pan, pour a small amount of klf tilnad sesame oil.
- 9. Place the filled dough balls in the pan and gently press them down to flatten them like a pancake.
- 10. Cook on medium heat until both sides are golden brown and the hotteok is cooked through.
